FYP is a 1-year long project undertaken during the students’ final year of studies, and could involve one or more of the following:
- Laboratory Investigation
- Computing and analysis
- Software development
- Design
- Product development
- Field testing and instrumentation
- Feasibility/case studies
- Hybrid (i.e. mix of experiment and theoretical, or experimental and numerical/software)
Commencement: January or August.
Duration and Workload: 2 Semesters (7-8 months), 3-6 hrs per week.
Number of Participants: 1-3 students. Each student must have an individual focus, so that there is no ambiguity about each person’s contributions and achievements.
Requirements: Preliminary and Final Oral Presentation, and Written Report.
To Become an industry partner in a final-year project, kindly fill and submit the PROPOSAL FORM by 15 June (Aug Batch) or 15 November (Jan Batch).
